Was Robin Hood a real person? It is unknown if Robin Hood was an actual person, or simply folklore.  However, Robin or Robert Hood was a common name in midieval England.  He is first mentioned in the 14th century as a master of disguise.

This finger puppet has many tales to tell.  Of saving (or being saved by) Maid Marian.  Or perhaps his run-ins with the Sheriff of Nottingham (who apparently is a direct ancestor of my wife's family - - I guess we all have skeletons in the closet!).

This puppet makes a great addition to any finger puppet collection, and can double as an Irishman on St. Patrick's day too!
